Tooltip Deluxe

Mon, 01/09/2012 - 16:34
$100.00

Have you ever needed to display popup text on a slide in your Articulate course? Or play an audio prompt in response to a learner clicking an element on a slide? Now you can with Tooltip Deluxe*. Tooltip Deluxe is a widget for Articulate Presenter 09 that enables you to define "hotspots" on one or more slides in your course. Each hotspot is a rectangular area of any size or position on the slide. In response to either a mouse rollover or mouse click from the learner, the hotspot will display either a tooltip-style box of text (with customizable colors, fonts, and even HTML formatting tags) or play an audio clip.

Create multiple hotspots per slide and have multiple slides with hotspots in a single presentation by editing a single xml file.

*This new widget enhances, combines, and replaces two previous widgets: the Text/Audio Rollover Tooltip Widget and the Click-to-Play Widget. Although those two widgets are no longer available, and I'm no longer developing them, I'll continue to support them (questions, bug fixes, etc) indefinitely.

Quizmaker Background Vanishing Powder

Fri, 12/16/2011 - 16:25
$100.00

Do a quick Google search for "quizmaker transparent background" and you will see how big of a problem this is.
You want to make Quizmaker transparent like Tom's great screenr explains.

But... it doesn't all disappear.. there is still a box in the middle of the slide.

And worse... now your feedback windows are transparent!

No worries.. sprinkle a little of this Vanishing Powder onto your published course and the box will disappear! Plus your feedback windows will return to a solid state. As with most of our solutions it really is as simple as copying one file into your published course.

Watch the screenr below to learn more.

Associate eLearning Developer (Full-time Contractors and/or Part-time Contractors)

Tue, 10/25/2011 - 13:25

eLearningEnhanced is hiring an Associate eLearning Developer. This will be a three month contract (with potential for extension).

General Description:

  • Using a script as a guide, you will assemble elements (text, audio, video, graphics, and animation) into a course/lesson.
  • This position is 100% remote; you need to communicate well with fellow team members to achieve shared project goals.
    • You will not be expected to work a "9-5" work schedule, but will be expected to be available when requested.
  • You will need a creative streak.
    •  Depending on the project you may need to create or download graphics and simple PPT style animations.
    •  When a customer asks for a few graphics or simple animation to illustrate how proper diet affects blood pressure, you should be able to do this without any further direction
  • This creativity should be tempered with an understanding of the intended audience, client culture, and learning preferences
  •  You may be asked to quality check other team members’ work.  You should not be afraid to give or receive constructive criticism.
  • Strive to maintain product consistency across the team (in other words the client should not be able to say “Oh, James made this lesson”).
  • You need to be very comfortable in PowerPoint and familiar with its more advanced features.
    • Can you animate a clock’s hands going from noon to 3:15?
    • Can you name four icons on the Picture Tools Tab without looking?
    • Are you the Master of Master Slides?
  • You should have plenty of experience in Articulate Studio, including Presenter, Quizmaker, and Engage.
  • Additional experience with image editing and/or simple Flash animation is a plus.

If you have not worked remotely before, please consider the following:

You must be comfortable with Cloud based technology like DropBox and web conferencing.

  • At least 90% of your feedback and direction will be via email or chat.
  • When you have “writer’s block” you can’t just roll your chair into the next cube and ask for help.
  • You need to function as a creative self-starter and work independently.

If you think this sounds like you please email your resume and preferred hourly rate to  careers@elearningenhanced.com
